Why We Started
Music Medicine Foundation was created from a belief that music can do more than entertain — it can connect people, create opportunity, and become a meaningful force in people's lives.
Founded by Anh Hoang, the Foundation brings together music, education, science, health, and community around a shared purpose: helping more people experience what music can make possible.
As Music Medicine Foundation grows, this story will continue to be shaped by the people, partners, students, researchers, artists, and communities who become part of the mission.

We support research exploring the relationship between music and the brain, including areas such as memory, cognition, emotional wellness, neurological health, and conditions that affect brain function.
Our long-term goal is to help connect researchers, universities, hospitals, and medical institutions with resources that can advance our understanding of music's potential role in brain health.
