Music Medicine Foundation exists at the intersection of performing arts, science, and brain health. We support research exploring how music interacts with the brain, expand access to meaningful music education, and create experiences that connect and inspire communities.
We support scientific research exploring the relationship between music and the brain, with a focus on memory, cognition, emotional wellness, neurological health, and conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease.
Our goal is to help connect researchers, universities, hospitals, and medical institutions with funding and resources that can advance our understanding of music’s potential role in brain health.
We believe access to music should not depend on a child’s financial circumstances.
We help expand access to music lessons, instruments, scholarships, and early musical experiences while supporting schools and programs with limited or outdated resources.
Our goal is to give more children the opportunity to discover what music can mean in their lives.
Music has a unique ability to bring people together.
Through performances, educational experiences, community programs, and events, we create opportunities for people to experience music while raising awareness around brain health, research, and the importance of music education.
